The Development Strategy of the City of Nova Gradiška is the key planning document of local development policy, containing strategic objectives, priorities and measures for achieving sustainable social and economic development. IPNG staff and members of the working groups, together with around 70 citizens of Nova Gradiška, took part in its preparation.
A document prepared on the basis of the smart cities concept through 6 synergistic factors: smart economy, smart governance, smart mobility, smart environment, smart community and smart living.
The Strategy was adopted on 3 March 2017 by a unanimous decision of 18 city councillors at a session of the City Council. The document is a precondition for the City to apply for co-financing of projects from EU funds.
Project submitted to the call for proposals "Support to the Development of Centres of Competence" within OPKK 2014–2020. Project promoter: CEKOM NI NG d.o.o., established by the City of Nova Gradiška in September 2016 as a Research and Knowledge Dissemination Organisation.
