Project
The Development Strategy of the City of Nova Gradiška is the key planning document of local development policy, containing strategic objectives, priorities and measures for achieving sustainable social and economic development. IPNG staff and members of the working groups, together with around 70 citizens of Nova Gradiška, took part in its preparation.
A document prepared on the basis of the smart cities concept through 6 synergistic factors: smart economy, smart governance, smart mobility, smart environment, smart community and smart living.
The Strategy was adopted on 3 March 2017 by a unanimous decision of 18 city councillors at a session of the City Council. The document is a precondition for the City to apply for co-financing of projects from EU funds.

The RE@CT project is focused on establishing local centres for advanced manufacturing and technology in Nova Gradiška (Croatia) and Šabac (Serbia), with the support of ICTTI from Novi Sad. The main objective is to invest in education and vocational training in order to develop a highly qualified workforce that meets the requirements of modern industry, with particular emphasis on Industry 4.0.
